The Willie Diggs School of Prayer exists to train and activate believers in the realm of intercession, spiritual warfare, and serving as watchmen over their families, communities, the nation, and the world. Our goal is to teach you to hear the voice of God, advance the kingdom in the earth and push back the agenda of the enemy.

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for the tearing down of strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

The Beginnings

The School of Prayer was founded by Pastor Willie Diggs as an answer to a burning desire to see the power of prayer working in families and communities. What began as a way to protect his family and children from the plots of the enemy, quickly transformed into training youth and young adults to become watchmen in their families and schools. Today it is an open invitation to cultivate the call and skill of effective prayer for the advancement of the kingdom.

Trained to pray as an elder and minister of the church, Diggs began seeing the power of prayer working early in his career while praying for individuals who felt trapped by the issues that concerned them - depression, alcoholism, drug abuse, and other social issues. He would soon be called to pray for ministry leaders, government officials, healthcare workers, and in board rooms, including school boards where he served as an educator. Diggs now uses his platform to stress the importance of praying for the community, the nation and the world, even as we manage and pray over our own personal struggles.

Areas of Training

One of the most powerful tools available to us as Christ Chasers is prayer. Yet most people struggle in this area. The goal of The School of Prayer is to provide you with a thorough biblical understanding of the art of prayer, guide you toward practical prayer strategy, remove the common obstacles in prayer practice, and reignite your passion for communion with God. We cover four particular areas of training.

Fundamentals

Go beyond the basic definition of prayer and learn the core concepts associated with prayer as it is defined in the Word. Learn about the different types of prayer and its use in faith.

Intercession

Intercessory prayer is an art form. Learn what it means to stand in the gap, intervene and war on behalf of another and intercede for systems, communities, leaders, and nations.

Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual Warfare is like physical warfare. Learn to identify spiritual conflict and how to apply prayer as a means of fighting the assignments, works, and schemes of the enemy.

Night Watching

Identify the call and burden to become a watchman. Learn about the prayer watches with close attention to the skills required for those who pray on the third and fourth watch.
